The NLRC was organized in 1996 with the idea of creating a national club that would preserve and promote the Labrador Retriever.

The NLRC has ended. The NLRC is grateful to members for their generosity that has enabled the NLRC to support the Labrador Retriever.  We understand that this news may be difficult to hear as the NLRC takes the necessary steps to ensure a smooth and orderly cessation of the club.                                                                                                                                                   April 2023

The National Labrador Retriever Club, Inc makes donations that protect the purebred Labrador Retriever.

We would like to share the above banner that was sent to us for our club's last years' donation to the American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation.  The AKC CHF funds canine health research that investigates the root causes of canine diseases and illnesses...research that can produce new, innovative therapies -- therapies that can offer help for previously untreatable canine diseases and illnesses.
